2024 Coaching Application and Background Screen

Whiteland Warrior Junior Football League!

In this session, you will be asked for information that will be used to conduct a background screening by the National Center for Safety Initiatives, LLC (NCSI).

 

Please read through each page carefully to ensure all information is provided accurately.

This registration requires a person to enter an accurate US Address.

COACHES RESPONSIBILITY

The primary goal of the Head and Assistant coaches is to provide a positive learning environment so the players return to play football the following year. All coaches selected to manage a team must adhere to the following requirements.

PRE-SEASON REQUIREMENTS

  • Attend Youth Coaching Development Clinic hosted by Coach Fisher.
  • Attend Middle School Football player development camp hosted by WWHS Football Staff
  • Attend Youth Football player development camp hosted by WWHS Football Staff
  • Attend WWJFL Field set-up and Clean-up events.
  • Pass WWJFL Annual Background Check
  • Complete registration to Hudl; the App is used for training and coach communication.
  • Complete registration to USA Football 
  • Complete USA Football Youth Certification for Non-Contact (Flag) & Contact (Tackle) Coaches per Indiana State Law and WWJFL league requirements.
  • Participate in Pre-Season Equipment Fitting and Skills Evaluation sessions (Check League Calendar for details)
  • Consult with coaches from Whiteland High School concerning
    • Drills for youth players
    • Terminology position & play naming

IN-SEASON REQUIREMENTS

Organize and prepare practice plans in advance of practice using templates provided by the WWJFL executive board.

  • Ensure player equipment is fitted correctly & well-maintained
  • Build player Self-confidence by teaching football in simple terms, from basics to advanced
  • Plan & execute player rotation during games, per league rules.
  • Coordinate all game day help with Team Parents/Parent Volunteers (i.e., time clock, Chains, etc.)
  • Report All Game Scores Immediately after your game.
